Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password when you create an account. Passwords are stored scrambled (hashed), so nobody at Candle Cove can read them.
• Order details: the items you buy, your delivery name, phone, address, city, PIN code, any note you add, and the status of your order and payment.
• Saved addresses you choose to keep in your account.
• Anonymous visit statistics: which pages are viewed, how long a visit lasts, the type of device, and the site that sent you to us. This uses a random ID stored in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not record your IP address in these statistics, and the statistics are not linked to your account.
• Chat questions you type into our shopping assistant, which are used only to answer you.

How we use it

• To take, pack, deliver and support your order, and to contact you about it, usually on WhatsApp or phone.
• To let you sign in, track orders and reuse your saved addresses.
• To understand which products and pages people like, so we can improve the shop.
• To keep the site secure and prevent misuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who else sees it

• Razorpay processes online payments (UPI, cards, netbanking). Your card or UPI details go to Razorpay directly; they never reach our servers.
• Delivery partners receive the name, phone number and address needed to deliver your parcel.
• Our hosting provider stores the site’s data on our behalf.
• WhatsApp: if you choose to order or chat on WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp’s own policy.
• We may share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed for delivery, support, accounting and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see below); we may need to keep some order records where the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or stop us contacting you, by messaging us on WhatsApp or calling +91 98992 79053. You can also clear your browser’s site data at any time to reset the anonymous visitor ID.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please choose a strong password and keep it private.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
